It's too bad these podcasts were so distorted. I was really looking forward to them, but the first TRC 'cast was unlistenable. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

yeah sorry about that , we considered re-recording TRC, which while it would have sounded alot better, it would have been alot less spontaneous and we would have been bored after 15 minutes repeating the same things... But never fear - Symbolic Beginnings is bug-free [Edited 1/15/10 13:28pm] Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now! | |

Yeah I found it unlistenable too.
Is MCs mic fixed for this one? He really needs a new mic or something, it keeps cutting in and out and its really hard to hear. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Really enjoy these podcasts. The "funny bastard" quip along with the "platic boobs" opinion (I agree, btw) had me laughing out loud! Great job guys...even with the distortion.  | |

I listened to both parts despite the warning on sound quality, because I really like to hear people's opinions on this album. I didn't find the distortion too off-putting, but I wouldn't recommend anyone listen to it on headphones! 
I was surprised by some of the apathy towards 'Digital Garden', since I find that to be one of the most interesting tracks musically. Totally agree with the love for 'Everywhere' though. The lyrics to 'Muse 2 The Pharoah' & 'Family Name' are worth deconstructing, though I thought you guys could've delved a bit deepr, for better or worse.
