I'm not saying that he's gay. No no no. Not saying that at all. I'm just saying it's quite plausible he could be gay, and it's perfectly ok to speculate.
And of course, speculating on it has nothing to do with his music any more than speculating on whether he's a vegan or JW is. It's just speculation.

And all the remarkably silly uninformative afore mentioned reasons why he's not gay are circumstantial speculation and conjecture--just like our reasons for indulging in possibilities that he might be. It's not an argument easily won by other any side.

However, that being said, the gays seem exponentially more articulate at expressing their opinions which makes this thread exponentially more entertaining with each post.

And no, I don't think Prince is gay and he probably doesn't give a flying fuck wether other people think he is, that's a side of him that I admire. He was and will never be mainstream, trying to fit in any general conception of the male or the female.

BUT Wendy and Lisa are too too out to have lied about Prince liking women. At most they would have agreed to do like others do when asked about ms Foster, they would have said "Prince likes to keep his personal life private" and then change the subject. Well, in the 80's I met a man that was as butch as John Wayne (but no cowboy hat)and I was shocked but I got over it. I didn't keep saying, "John is straight, he just hasn't found the right woman, that's all". Think about it. If you are gay, would you want people to keep telling you over and over that your straight you just haven't accepted it yet. That maybe you are jut going through a phase etc.

When an effemminate man says he's straight more than once drop it. If there can be extremely butch gay men, and trust me there are plenty, then there can be some pretty nelly straight men out there aswell.
