I like the premise of the orger's thread though, before those who are in my camp labmaste the original poster.

The original poster is absolutely sure Prince is straight. He's convinced we're being irrational in our own speculations of Prince's excessive gayness.

And I totally don't see anything wrong with that. The original poster is actually asking us to explain why we think he's gay.


So, I applaud the original poster. This is different from those "He's straight and you have no right to say he's gay." The original poster is actually looking for dialogue along those lines--not to stifle our own dialogue. He's looking for debate.


There's a couple of real nasty bannable cunts on this site who don't want dialogue. The refuse to even engage in debate about the subject because they lose their cool every time they do.

So, even though I know the original poster finds our speculations distasteful, at least he/she is trying to get dialogue going on the matter and not just try to stifle our opinions and speculation.

I am gay and can tell you that not all of us run around in drag and have loads of fag hags in tow. Some of us, like myself, are just normal everyday masculine MEN who happen to like MEN.

There's no way that Prince is gay. He likes his women too much and anyway who cares if he is? Like most men he may have had an experience with a man in his life or adolescence but is that really any of our business?

The notion that "the gays want Prince something fierce " is laughable.
When you take his physical attributes, style of dress and mannerisms, he appeals to a very, very,very specific segment of our population.

Quite honestly, as a gay man, I've actually always been in the minority among the groups of gay men I've known and hung out with in even liking Prince (musically/artistically, not physically) to the extent that I do.

Prince is in show bussiness, but so many people that deal with these
issue aren't (labels). I thought to bring this up, When kids that have the same
issue Girls or Boys. Their peers would not bully them. Same goes for
race, gender, and as we speak sexual orientation. I understand your frustration when it comes to people saying what Prince is but this topic was not about delving into Prince's personal life about being gay or straight. I simply wanted to know why do SOME people view of him as being that gay? I wanted t stimulate and open dialouge that people could share their imputs about this topic. People were to learn from my sister's irrate stupidity at the time and learn or at least KNOW that to never judge a book from it's cover because when you start to turn the pages you just might get a papercut.
