Or just cut and paste it, but first some corrections. "The Question of U" was performed live on The Nude Tour, so this is NOT the first time it was live. In fact, the official video for the single was from the tour. (Do your homework.)

It's also untrue when you said, "everybody knows he is in high level negotiations with them". A 20th anniversary DVD doesn't dictate that someone has to be in negotiations about anything; as you can see on the DVD, Prince is nowhere on it, nor had anything to do with it. WB and MTV owned that footage.

Whoever said there was a 20 minute version of "Computer Blue" or that it exists on video??? There's a lot of conjecture in your reviews.

Prince Rocked Jersey & Hartford '04!

Prince is still the best musician, singer songwriter, performer, and electric guitar player to ever rock the stage. The Jersey concert was the first time I had ever been able to score floor seats anywhere close! Anyway, highlights of the show for me were:

The Question Of U (1st time ever live, excellent guitar)
I Feel For You
A Love Bizarre
Sign O The Times
Life O The Party
U Got The Look
Adore!
Shhh...(John Blackwell is incredible, he may be Prince's best drummer yet! Look for his solos on this one, awesome!)
Controversy
Let's Work
Alphabet St.
Little Red Corvette
Prince & The Band(very interesting new song, however, it's not cool of him to still take shots at WB, everybody knows he is in high level negotiations with them, I mean how could he not be, it's the Purple Rain 20th Anniversary DVD! Doesn't he stand to make millions off of this deal even if he doesn't incorporate his input? And what if he does bury the hatchet with Mr. Warner? Knowing Prince, what he must have from the cutting room floor in his vault from the recordings of 'Purple Rain' must be incredible! How about the 20 min. live version of 'Computer Blue'? Does it exist on video? A question only Prince himself can answer! Hmmmmm.)
Take Me With U(a girl that was pulled onstage with Prince had a chance to sing and forgot the lyrics! It was hysterical, Prince was like "Somebody come get your daughter off the stage!" I saw the girl afterward and was like: "You better get your Purple Rain on!" another dude was like "Yeah, there's no excuse to forget the words."
Purple Rain(I won't spoil the encore, I will say it was awesome)

I was surprised I didn't see the Sopranos in the audience! Jay-Z and Beyonce were there. I was so close when he was doing the solo on the purple symbol guitar 'Habibi" that at one point he was right in front of our faces! Shout out to Scott and his girl who sat with us on the floor, his first Prince concert, I know he had a blast. Bruce definitely got some competition in Jersey, Prince rocked the house!

Hartford was pretty much the same set list that's already been posted for Jersey except for a couple of real gems that I can't believe I got to see:

I Love U In Me (from B-sides! at first I couldn't place it because it was a different acoustic version, but once he got to the chorus I was blown away! That is one thing I love about Prince and my other favorite artists is that they play rarities!)
What A Wonderful World (my late dad loved jazz, especially Sacchimo. Thanks Maceo!)

First Encore: Whole Lotta Love

Prince's blistering attack on Led Zeppelin's classic was truly phenomenal, but I must talk about John Blackwell now. I believe he shares Prince's talent in how they can just hold the whole crowd in the palm of their hand! Friday night in Jersey right from the get-go I was thinking how his style of playing reminded me of John Bonham, and it seemed like he knew Bonzo's entire solo!! I'm a big Zeppelin fan from way back also so I thought that was very cool. And to give these incredible, inspired performances after what just happened to him is amazing! I just lost my poppy who I loved dearly in January, I know that is not the same as losing your kid but I still feel the pain of losing someone you love. You go John Blackwell, one of the best drummers I've ever seen!

I've had a real incredible summer, these are the shows I saw:
The Who
Fleetwood Mac
Simon & Garfunkel
Eric Clapton
Sting/Annie Lennox
Rod Stewart

They were all awesome, and I know those are all top tickets, and Prince & the NPG topped them all! Even The WHO, and that's my favorite band of all time! Prince's show is tight. The unplugged set is brilliant. My good friend Rob Myers and his wife Carmen made it to the Prince concert and had a wonderful time as well. Their first Prince concert to and they said they loved it, thanks again to Prince for them. My brother Jimmy was there also, big ups. I nonw wish I went to the Garden show. Prince is great but the Hartford Civic Center is a horrible venue.

The merchandise was really excellent! I bought a purple Prince t-shirt with the 1999 logo on it, sweet! Also a retro Prince & the Revolution t-shirt for my angel of a wife Jane, she keeps me alive every day and gets me to all these concerts, she loves Prince, too! And I copped a 'Days Of Wild' CD, everything was pretty reasonable. Prince, I take it all back, you rock dude!

The song, 'The Question Of U', has never been released as a single.and there is no official video that has been released to accompany a single by that name. A promo video for the song was taken from the 'Live In Tokyo' television broadcast (recorded performance of 31 August 1990, Tokyo Dome), but never officially released. A video for the song was also compiled from footage subsequently cut from the film, Graffiti Bridge, again never officially released.

Retitled as 'The ? Of U' the song featured as part of a medley ('The ? Of U', 'Fallin', 'The One' ') on the 2004 tour and the live performance recording from Omaha (7 April 2004) was made available by the NPG Music Club for download, for a limited period entitled '2004 Tour Audio' in wma format, and '2004 Tour Video' in wmv format.

OK Ernest Sewell, little boy, first off, it was the 1st time I had ever heard The Question Of U live! Second, this review was written BEFORE the Purple Rain 20th Anniversary DVD release! And Third, I went to see Prince & the Revolution at Madison Square Garden in 1986 when your mommy was probably still changing your crappy diapers, mother fucker! Don't try to tell me nothin' about Prince, I'm an OG from the PPML, what rock did you crawl out from under??

That whole paragraph just oozes editing. Typing it, reading it, then taking something out, saying something else, re-reading it, all to make it sound just right. I'll bet you smiled and nodded before you hit 'Post response'.

Douche.

On top of that, in none of it did you explain any of your unfounded assumptions.

LOL You're like a chihuahua thinking he's a doberman. ----> fit

Young 'un, I was listening to Prince records before Ronald Reagan took office, and before I was a teenager, so how about you oral me? Mmkay?

ROFLMAO @ 1986. Yeah, cuz that was the start of Prince's career. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAAAAAHHAHAHAAAAA comfort

If you're such a damn Prince fan, you'd know about "The Question of U" being out on video, via the Graffiti Bridge DVD, which was recorded and performed well after your glorious romp at MSG in 1986.

I think we're both right, though. There is a video for the song, and it was released, but it was indeed not a single. No harm no foul on that one.
