Hello. Does any body know if the prince albums will ever be remastered and if so will he? do it like rem's early album's where they have included a 2nd cd of a live gig of that time. telboy7

I hear he was in "talks" with Warners about remastering some albums?

I reckon they would be 'boosted' versions of the tapes WB already has (similar to Ultimate Prince, they consulted with P on that one), highly unlikely Prince would relinquish the full re-masters so close to 2013 (when he starts to get back his legal rights to the original masters, first one being 'For You').

So we can look forward to a crappy false "re-mastered" Purple Rain with 3 or 4 b-sides added.

Don't get me wrong... I WOULD DIE 4 some re-masters! His cd's are awful (alot of Threads about that!) It doesn't take that much time to come up with something does it?
