I was listening to the ' Ballad of Dorothy Parker' I have always wished that this would have went on maybe just another minute with a keyboard solo. I love the beat and music to this joint.
What other songs do you wish had an extended version?

3) Dirty Mind
4) When 2 R In Love

Some of those seem to work just as they are, especially "I Wonder U". "Dirty Mind" could be extended with a screaming guitar solo.

However, you should find Looptopia, made by my friend Chuck. He did some awesome extended versions of songs, and one is "17 days [Bambi's midnight ball]". His take on "Anotherloverholenyohead" and "A Love Bizarre" made me wet!

1. Black Sweat, only because in his extended versions Prince often does some really interesting things. It's like the 'cropped' version is a pale shaddow of the extended half sometimes. And Black Sweat just seems like a song begging for a more interesting second half.

4. Fury...I'd love to see him go crazy with it

I imagine there are a lot of extended versions in the vault. Whenever I hear a song fade-out on his record, I assume he's keeping some really juicey parts from us.

There's an instrumental version of Toy Box floating around that makes me really wish there had been an extended version of that song. If it incorporated elements from that version, it would be hot.

Although it's like a 5 minute song as it is, I'd like to see Thunder into an extended version...

I've always wondered how great it would have been to hear an extended version of that song given the way it ended. It actually sounds unfinished as is.
