I'm thinking about buying this.Is it any good? whats the track list? opinions please!

Ask yourself two questions.

1. Do I want to look at pictures of empty hotel rooms?

and

2. Do I want to hear Prince talk about hanging out with cute guys and buying tampons?

If you find it for the right price go ahead.

Not even for the right price. Without repentence, Prince deserves zero of your dollars.

Baby Love - two Shelby J songs back to back = Wack
The One/Suite - This has become Prince's modern day Purple Rain, prob his best moments puttinb these songs together, on this version too much horns
All the Critics - great way to end"

Why not? You like Prince enough to invest your time and $$$ into him to this point. The book is on sale in some places, I've heard (on the Org). It's a nice book, I'm not sure why people hate it so much. It's just a coffee table book; no one is rewriting The Bible or War and Peace or something.

Its something youll only listen to once and read through once..but of course its a must have for your collection

indigo cd's good ..

the best of this is the book, it's gigantic in size.

the live CD recording is crap. The horns sounds like from a circus.

I was sooo disappointed. Overall I rate this CD/ Book: 2/10.

I'm shocked someone doesn't have it. It's as cheap as chips online (or some stores). Plus I thought this was a Prince fan site (love em or hate em. Or him for that matter) and assumed everyone bought everything.

It has it's guitar moment from 0:55 to 1:05 on Whole Lotta Love. That moment is worth the purchase price for me. Very Thom Yorke.

It's not as good as a good bootleg and given the choice of material he could have released so much more. But, as an official live album, it's a good one to have. Shame about the lack of a jewel case.

Oh and for Alphabet Street. It's that bass line.

Yes get it!!! Its really well put together. For me I love it cause I was not only at a lot of the o2 shows (so it's like a super posh programme) but also because I was at the Indigo Aftershow that is on the CD. Also that review sucks, the CD has the best official version of 3121. It went off live

If you think of the book as fancy packaging for the CD, it's definitely worth it.

You should buy it only if you find it for a cheap price.It's basically just a glorified tourbook.

The book is nice to just have a flick through but it doesn't do justice to the concerts. Concert pictures are just a small section of the overall book.

The CD is fun, and as there are not that many live CDs available; unless you dig into the boot scene, this is a must have. Certainly considering the price this is being sold for these days...
