PrintableOk i dont know if this helps but ive been a hairdresser for 8 years and looking at the pictures you can plainly tell its his hair.. even if he had short hair in two years it is possible for it to grow. when hair is relaxed and not in its curly state it is much longer. so the purple rain look it was probably relaxed and then set and teased. wouldnt even surprise me if his hair dresser set his hair in perm rods to get it that curly but just from working with all types of hair for many years i do believe without a doubt even the GB look is no extensions But it has been colored Black.... insatiable3: how can i cure my hangover?

I grew up in the 70's and 80's and afros were huge, proper diet for anyone being hydrated your hair and nails grow. I have curly hair and in a few weeks after getting it cut I have a significant growth, its nothing for my hair to start hanging in a month or 2 [Edited 1/15/10 5:44am] | |

People who question Prince's hair growth must not know black hair. With a good hair dresser, your hair will grow like wild fire. I used to wear my hair long and had a hair stylist in the 80's and early 90's. When I would go get it styled, it grew back extremely fast. Prince NEVER wore extensions. Thats all him and yes a black mans hair can grow very fast in two years. __________________________________________________

..sorry y'all but I agree with joyinrepetition..That was his hair throughout the 80's. That was one of the coolest things about P back then. Every year he would put a new LP and have a new 'do' to go with it. And it always looked cool. Even from 98 to 99 you see his hair growing back. By 2000 he had the "G.B" look again. Not too sure about now, but back then I'm almost positive that was his real hair. | |

Time has already told that story (his hairline is still there, most women that wear weaves for years sport a receeding hairline) . Prince still has a nice hairline and his hair is still there, albeit it is thinner, this naturally happens with age, but for a man at the age of 50+ this guy has a FULL head of hair. Its gray and colored poorly IMO but it is HIS naturally growing hair. If the dude had no hair he'd be looking like George Jefferson or sporting a bald clean shaven head by now... and that is the ONLY look that our man Prince has not sported yet. | |
