Its worth it just for that version of Days Of Wild

It's a nice multi-disk set.

I believe all the songs on it can fit on 2 disks, so why it was spread out over 3, I'm not sure.

But it's worth it for the truth, which should be included in the package as well. If you get the set that also has Kamasutra, well.... at least it's something to complete your collection.

Most of the songs are great, some are mediocre (for Prince), but over-all it is a great audio experience--esp. for a Prince fan who just plugged in again after a 15 year absence! Get it!

Its so good, basically if u c it, buy it. If just for the song Crystal Ball alone

The 4th disc, "The Truth", is hugely overrated. The "songs" are barely ideas for songs, and most of them wouldn't have gotten beyond the demo stage in Prince's heyday.

The three other discs are a complete rip-off, because:
- some of the songs aren't outtakes (one of them is an EDIT of a song released on a soundtrack in the mid-1980s -- they could at least have included the full-length version),
- several of the tracks are simply remixes of already released songs,
- and several of the outtakes are not the same versions that have been circulating but have instead been edited and/or remixed (and almost always aren't as good as the circulating outtakes).

Worse of all, these three CDs could easily fit on mere two CDs.

The packaging was rubbish.

And the booklet contains numerous errors and lies. If you get a booklet at all.

Don't bother with the 5-disc edition: "Kamasutra" is horrible.

Most of prince's albums are out of print, So if u want real copys for your self get it.. But i wouldnt pay a whole lot

Tottaly worth it. The Truth (the album) is wonderful. As to the outtakes, my favourites would be:

I bought it today for roughly £28 or $40 (roughly) on ebay. The case has been openeded but the discs have never been played. The seller has an ace rating so guess I can trust that.

Well, actually I think Kamasutra is a fantastic, great album and I'm really surprised to hear so many negative or so-so reactions. Actually, I listen to it pretty often, 'cause I work with a text most of the time (reading/writing/editing), so it's hard to concentrate than you hear music with words, and Prince have quite a few recordings without a voice, so that's why Kamasutra is my piece of choice. Also, it's good for having sex , it's very sensual, and also I got very distracted if I hear any music with lyrics while I'm getting laid too...

As for Crystall Ball set, I would be absolutely happy to have one in my collection, but at the moment I can't really afford it...
