If only Prince did the same thing Jim Vallance does

This is quite possibly the coolest discography I've ever seen:

http://www.jimvallance.co...raphy.html

Why? Because if you click the link, you get detailed credits about the track (who's playing on it, where and when was it recorded, lyrics,...), you'll hear a sample from it, but you also get to read comments from the guy who wrote the song!

Wouldn't it be great to get say, one story per day from Prince, which would build up into this huge discography? (Though I would prefer that someone verifies what Prince says, because he's often enough said completely incorrect things about songs.)

Which is why I'm glad we have people like Wendy, Lisa, Paul, Susannah, and others who answer questions about things, because Prince will never do.

Absolutely. But Prince is a revisionist, so honestly, I would rather have stories told by more forthright sources close to the projects.

Back in the day, Prince did half-heartedly have his minions invest some time in his discography... www.npgmusicclub.com/discography
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
