Question: Prince & Angie Stone

I'm a bit confused when i found the following info about a single/album of Prince @ http://www.discography.de:

###
Prince & Angie Stone
2000

I. One Song 3:10
II. Cybersingle 2:42
III. 2045 Radical Man 6:35
IV. U Make My Sun Shine 5:55
V. When Will We B Paid? 4:07

Was this officially released as a cd-single or mini(?)-album? If so I WANT IT, One Song is 1 of the best Prince songs ever i think!!

Thnx 4 the help

The song "U Make My Sunshine" was released as a CD single, with the track "When Will We B Paid?".I've seen it at my local Tower Records.

I believe it's a mistake on the site.

If you access the page from the albums and singles section, you will see that, under 2000 it lists the single releases as:

One Song (RealAudio)
Cybersingle (MP3)
2045 Radical Man (from Bamboozled soundtrack)
U Make My Sunshine / When Will We B Paid?

The links under the first three incorrectly point to the latter item (there is a link under Bamboozled to details of the soundtrack on which 2045 Radical Man features) which misleadingly suggests that all 5 songs were released on one maxi-single.

To the best of my knowledge, apart from the download availability during Year 1 NPGMC, U Make My Sunshine has only been released in three different configurations on CD (all same version):

1. coupled with When Will We B Paid? - NPG Records 2000

2. coupled with When Will We B Paid? and 2 bonus tracks by Track Squad (unrelated to Prince) - Throw Dat Leg Up [Snippet] and Sweet Punanny [Snippet] NPG Records with Wingspan Records 2000

3. coupled with The Work Part 1 - NPG Records 2001

The site also overlooks the latter item under 2001, even though the single version of The Work Part 1 is slightly different to the one on The Rainbow Children album.

If you can find the bootleg " the Work Volume 5" It has the One song and almost all the NPG singles up to 2001. Very good quality.

For reasons best known to themselves, Thunderball decided that MP3 downloads as opposed to official releases on CD (albeit sometimes to a limited audience) were fair game for piracy. Disk 4 of Volume 5 is piracy of NPGMC / officially released NPG Record material.

Incidentally, Phill's comment regarding 'Very Good Quality' is a matter of debate. Moreover, two of the tracks (not ones being discussed here) on disk 3 of volume 5 had faults on them (which were avoidable).

Michale D'Angelo Archer II. I guess most people who have followed D'Angelo and Angie Stone would be aware of this. It is sometimes mentioned in more in depth interviews for example:
