That's exactly the opposite of how I feel. I love this album except for the one weak track, "I Rock Therefore I Am." Prince went into some new territory with every track here except for the cliche "funky jam about how badass I am." Right The Wrong is particularly memorable because of the adorable fake hillbilly twang Prince uses in the opening vocal. A great song, and a much better album than Emancipation, or pretty much anything he's done since.

Don't mind it, but not one of his best.
Worse (IMHO)... "Graffiti Bridge", "Solo" and "4ever"... God-awful - just my opinion. I agree tho', in that, as a fierce guitar album, "CHAOS & DISORDER" is one of my faves.

I hit "Right The Wrong", let out a sigh, and wished I opted for Emancipation instead. I forgot just HOW BAD it actually was. Anyone feel the same? Thanks for bringing this song to my attention. I never listen to this album coz, let's face it, it's not Prince's best, but I quite like this song. It's better than The Same December, which falls into my 'Prince does Queen' category (3 Chains of Gold, etc.) and is truly awful!

Into The Light and I Will are two of his all time best compositions.

i used to hate this fucking song with a passion , but heard a more stripped down version of it a while ago and appreciate it a BIT more now, but still not my favorite in the least . my favorites from chaos and disorder are the title track, dinner with delores, i will, but i have no real problem playing the whole album start to finish now. i don't mind it all actually For all time I am with you, you are with me.

it's more than passable when listened to as part of the whole chaos album, one of my top favrites. it's so random like country dipped in punk puree. i don't knock it

Agreed - you just have to be in the mood to hear it, that's all. "God" is similar (although harder to stomach in my opinion). An example of a horrible song is "Wedding Feast" - now there's an abomination

Co-sign with Acrylic. Not my favorite song. The chorus sounds like it should be in a laundry detergent commercial. But I still love the "Chaos" CD.

Maybe not an outstanding song on the album, but surely not the worst. That title clearly goes to "I rock..." IMO. Take out "I rock..." and maybe "Dig u better dead" and put in "Empty Room", and you have a killer Prince album instead of a very good Prince album. Maybe a nicer artwork would have helped as well...

Plus, I really like how Prince says "Gram-paw." "GARSON! Avez-Vous un crayon? That's French, understand?"

Haven't listened to this album since the late 90s and don't miss it. Its the Cleveland steamer of all his albums So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Dayum, I love this song. It was actually one of the first songs that I would play over and over when it came out. When it comes up in the shuffle I always end up playing it over a few times. Great song.

I disagree with the OP.
Its first of all one of the WEIRDEST songs in Princes career: part country, part Duke Ellington Big-Band jazz, part hilbilly monologue, a soap-commercial like chorus, and some sound-effects throw in the mix. It shouldnt work, and it also sounds rather 'weird' at first listen, but somehow it works for me. Its catchy, with the sing-along chorus, and i love the horn-arrangement and Michael Blands drumwork. So yes, i like it.

it's ok I guess.
The entire album works for me because it reminds me of Dirty Mind (yes, that's right). It's raw, immediate, a bit angry, and quick. There's nothing polished about it, and that makes it quite refreshing.
