Other great Leonard Cohen songs that might help with loss include, If It Be Your Will and Hallelujah. Death Cab For Cutie have a song on their album Plans called What Sarah Said, that is a beautiful rumination on the loss of a loved one due to a prolonged illness. If I knew more about the nature of your loss, I might suggest some other songs. I am sorry for your loss. I lost my wife a couple of months ago, so unfortunately I can speak from experience 
For Prince many fine suggestions have been made. From other artists I would suggest Heaven by Bryan Adams (especially the version from Live! Live! Live!) and You'll be in my heart by Phil Collins. All the best! Reinoud | |

I'm sorry for your loss. Prince, as others have suggested, has many songs. I lost people dear to me in recent years. Hands down, the best songs I've come across is "Missing You" by Diana Ross...
