The rest of your answer is nonsense, so I'm not reprinting it. No one thinks that much into blue and red = purple. But the example of "Blue Rain" or whatever is stupid. Obviously if he was into Maroon or Burgandy, the title of the film, and it's theme song, would have been different. Many songs would have been different, that referenced the color purple. Gheezus people, why is this hard? The dude's name is fucking PRINCE. Prince is a royal title. Purple was worn by the royals in times past because it was an expensive dye to create and only the rich could afford it, so it was always been associated as a royal color. Hell, if his name wasn't Prince, he would have changed references like, or not even made references like, "If anybody asks you, you belong to Scott!", or "My name is Dillion, and I am funky". Maybe he's a big fan of the Prince of Crime, THE JOKER
I discovered Prince through his "Batdance" Music Video around '89, which was shown before Childrens Programming in the early morning. As a six year old i was very impressed of that singing Live-Action Joker and disappointed after i saw Nicholson in the role in cinema. Prince would be my favourite Joker actor to this day.
