Why the 'of course'? This has always been a mystery to me. Isn't it a straight-up WB album, like any other? http://en.wikipedia.org/w...Experience © Bart Van Hemelen

http://www.collegian.psu....arts-4.asp http://www.techdirt.com/a...7387.shtml http://www.fepproject.org...moCDs.html Thanks for the links. I hadn't heard that about promo CDs, but it makes sense that the sellers are protected under the law even if it states on the cover "Not For Resale". If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

WB has rights to the Paisley Park imprint releases but not this particular NPG imprint. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I re - collected all of them for great steals(lol) In the 90's u could get 1999 double LP $5.99 PaRADE $2.99 sIGN o THE tIMES fREE.99 12'inch sigles $2.99 .... Now that Prince is a super ICON...and Re- "famed" himself... all of those old records izzz sealed in nice wrap & cost over $17.99 each?? If u are really collecting classic prince right now.. becareful. .... i MISS THAT OL' SKOOL COMPANY!! Um.....what the fuck? WTF.... Am i not understood here? I'm @ work, i 'm busy... yet really dug this topic. SO EXCUSE ME FOR USING MY OWN LANGUAGE... DAMN!!!! LOL In the 90's Second hand record stores were damn near GIVING prince's music away for free..It was getting really bad pre 2004 as well --- Were i live they were trying to get rid of their back log on the shelves. When prince became "Mainstream" popular again after the R&RHOF,Musicology Tour These Used Record stores wanted to make their Money along side the FYE's, Tower Records, I tunes as well - with Prince's old music - They knew people were going to pay Top $$$ for anything Purple the store has for sale SO BE CAREFUL.. - in their eyes, all of Pince's music is "Worth something again" so they are going to go for Top $$$ as u already know.. The real side splitting part for me was the ...in the middle. It was like you had finally found a long lost family member. It was like you were truly shock. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

As a very new fan I have to say thank God for record stores like FYE that sell used CD's. I would never have MOST of the 20 plus CD's of Prince's that I have now without them. Its a cardboard gate fold cover. Althow i recently bought the Parade album picture disc from ebay(i already had it,but never had the cover) And that has a 12" hole in the front cover so you can see the picture disc,no gate fold.
