The movie was fully black and white including the credits. The video, I believe, was color. There's also footage from the making of the video that has leaked out in recent years. | |

Music was great. As much as I like Prince, I thought it was a very expensive home movie he made. Soon after he would repeat himself with UTGB, same outcome great music but another mtv home movie. Musician great as he is, movie directing is not his cup of tea. Nevertheless I still would like to see him starring in another music themed movie, but with the likes of a Tim Burton penning and directing. | |

Thanks for sharing! It's from the film. The disk is "1999 The New Master" on purple vinyl. I scanned and printed the CD cover to put in there as pictures; although one of the pictures is from the 1800NEWFUNK site at the time. I did frame it myself. I also had all four "Purple Rain" purple vinyls in one frame. I also framed the CED of Purple Rain in a shadow box. I have all the stuff, but I don't have a Prince room anymore. Haven't since about 2002. | |
