Little Red Corvette in Montreaux 2009

Hej guys!

I was just watching one of the Montreaux concerts Prince did during the summer, and as always Prince was great. But I couldn't help to notice that the performance of "Little Red Corvette" was outstanding, it was soooo good! I think this is the best live version of this song I've ever heard of before, all the guitar solos gave me goose bumps!! The whole part when he was like "slow down" Oh myyy goood! I can't even imagine how it would be to hear Little Red Corvette live.

So I was wondering what you all here in the org that have seen this performance thought of it? Did you also like it? And also you who saw it live, please tell us who waren't there how it was.

Take care!

I prefer the version he played at Coachella. I watch that performance almost every day. But his Montreaux gigs are excellent nonetheless.

I haven't seen it but I heard it for the first time today. I thought the first performance was outstanding. Actually I've enjoyed listening to it. Didn't get all the way through it but I will this week.

That's what I thought too. This should definitely have been released. Prince and the band were in stellar form.

YES they should definitely release it, I would buy it in an second haha, I love almost everyone of his performances but there was something special with Montreaux, it was only about the music in some way, it wasn't so much about what he had in the stage (dancer, porps etc.), it was only him and his band and I really enjoyed watching it smile

It blew me away! The guitar part is just too much.

The first montreux concert was Prince at his best. That's why i'm still waiting for that montreux dvd! He just has to release this one!

Anyone wants to talk about the All The Critics Love U in Montreux version? that must've been the best ever performance of that song too.
