HEEEY! On the AMA awards last night, when Missy performed "Work It" did ya'll C the Prince lookalike guy from her video come on stage & do those spilts & spins & everything? He even did that feel-up thing that Prince did @ the end of "PURPLE RAIN"!!!

I don't think she attempted to get Prince. She contacted the Prince impersonator for her video because she had heard of him and thought he was funny - oh, and it went with the Prince line in the song.

I completely agree with Bill for once, he looks more like El DeBarge than Prince! He looks nothing like Prince, IMO, besides the wig and the clothes. He was all over the Org a few months ago billing himself as the next best thing to Prince, and if you missed his act you might as well just drop dead.

yeah well thats what happens since prince doesnt make many public apearances that much anymore, they want to be associated with prince so there are other routs than getting the man himself cheep on thier part but hey..what can they do?

This guy and I chatted a bit on the org. I wish he would come back to talk. They showed clips of Prince on the AMA's. Prince is certainly not Forgotten and I do Believe he should get out and do the Scene again. I think maybe People forgot because he has been so Underground you know and PRIVATE. Which is a Good Thing,but I would go to Parties more if I were Him to be SEEN and also to make NEW CONTACTS and FRIENDS. ALOT of New People in Hollywood Now. Things are Different. Newer Faces. And Prince Lenny is Becoming Really Big but PRINCE IS IT AND Should Be on those Shows Presenting Awards. But well that's his Bizness. I Ain't his Manager. If Prince was still doing the overexaggerated thing like the tongue and the same old spins and splits, it would be pretty sad.
Sorta like Michael Jackson and the moonwalk.
But Prince impersonators always look pretty lame because they are normal size guys wearing the outfits Prince used to wear. Prince could get away with it (most of the time) cause he's so tiny. Seeing a guy the size of a linebacker wearing that stuff is hilarious.
