controvery and dirty mind are short, parade is the lonest album, so get that so you get more prince minutes for your money, then illegally download the other albums so warners doesn't make any more money from prince. i'm sure prince would agree with that principle. if not he will sue your ass

buy the batman album. sooooo better than Parade. there are six songs that rocks in this album.
Electice chair(very good rock song), The arms of orion (love song), Partyman (see the video too), Trust, Scandalous (my favorite love song of Prince) Batdance (good remix). and the others are alright.

the only songs i like from Parade are Kiss, Mountains, anotherloverholenyohead.
so why not buy batman with more hits then the Parade. even though some songs from batman album are not #1 hits, they should have been. big time.

why not buy them all, I guess they are on mid-price these days.




ps. all the Warner albums are must-haves, imo.

My choice of all of those, is Parade, its the best of the lot, has the magnificent 'Mountains' and then there is Kiss. The album is a classic. All the others are Ok, but Prince, Dirty Mind and Controversy are all 8 or 9 songs and short. Of the 3 Dirty Mind is the best with its shockable content and seasoned punk funk. Controversy has its moments too, with the title trax and Do Me Baby. Prince is a bit of dross. Love sexy is ok. ATWIAD save your money, its got 2 catchy singles, Pop Life and Raspberry Beret both of which are on Greatest Hits albums and only Condition of the Heart is worthy of purchase here. Batman is the joker of the pack, not worth the money or the effort. Go for Parade first, then Dirty Mind and Controversy.

tough choice, I'd go with PARADE if I had to choose.
but of course Ive heard them all backward and forward thousands of times.
