Let's Vote! Best ONA concert...

The tour came to an end (or so it seems...)

So what was his best One Nite Alone performance?

Of course we can only judge from the ones we attended, or listened to from (shhh) boots...

My favourites:

- Antwerp (thanks to a fantastic 2 hour soundcheck + the great energy during the main show)
- Nighttown

The only person who can answer this is the one who went to ALL of the ONA concerts, doubt if there is anyone...

If I had to make a choice between the ones I went to it would be Ahoy 2-11.

I was on 7 shows and 3 aftershows on this tour (3 London + Marquee, Antwerp, Paris + Bataclan, Zurich, Milan + Nighttown)

The best soundcheck for me was antwerp, best show : 1st London, best aftershow : Le Bataclan

London Saturday 5 October - Prince's first encore was him solo on stage with an acoustic guitar and the overall show was well over three hours

(especially if you add the aftershow at the Marquee)

I would say the Portland show because it was the last night of the US tour. He played for about 3 hours, then proceeded to have an aftershow where he played another 3 hours. The man is incredible!!!

My biased answer: Houston, because I was there, and because he used some of the piano tracks on the live release. BUT...I really enjoy listening to the Chicago concert -- love 1+1+1=3 from that show. smile

But hey, were any of them bad? No way!

Since I am from Chicago, I gotta give props to that second night in Chi-town - Sunday, March 3rd "Riiise up - I luv it... feel funky now, say Riiise Up!"

But to me, THE BEST shows were The Aladdin in Vegas and the aftershow in Paris at Le Bataclan, which I am still having flashbacks over !
