i think i might just choose prince #1 ... yup

i pretty much only listen to his music and my music anyways ... sure i try to branch out but ultimately his career has more interesting moments than most of what is out there ... there are a few bands i would miss but a lot of the music out there SUCKS compared to prince worst moments ... yeah prince doesnt always cut it but then i listen to the radio and its worse ..

while i am at it ... why do people think prince wants you to surrender all your bootlegs ... he just said send them in .. i think he just wanted to hear them all and have his own collection ... i dont think he cares if you keep a copy for yourself ... why would he .. thats what makes a musicians career ... people sharing the music ... if he cared he would pull a pearl jam or phish and put shows out for sale or download ... he doesnt ...

I had never thought I would say so, but my answer would be number 1. There is a lot of great music out there, but listening to Prince means so much more to me than listening to good music, - I feel home when I listen to him.
