You're shopping and a P song comes on.... I was shopping in a thrift store on Monday just killing some time. All of a sudden, the guitar riff comes on from WDC. I started humming the song, as usual. This lady that looks to be a 60 plus year old woman, started going wild. She started singing LOUD and bobbing her head. I snickered to myself and continued to watch her. Next thing I knew, she was pushing her buggie and shaking her butt and singing. It was so funny and cute. I love it when I see people's reactions to P's music. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

One time I went to the neighbourhood grocery store to pick up a few items. The store was playing a bunch of songs and then Raspberry Beret started playing. I did sing along Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS - Prince "I kind of wish there was a reason for Prince to make the site crash more" ~~ Ben |

My first memory of hearing a Prince song was hearing "1999" at the shopping mall in the early 80's.
and it all started from there..... My name is Naz!!! and I have a windmill where my brain is supposed to be.....

I take notice (If I'm with hubby or a friend point it out to them...not sure why )and keep shopping (maybe sing along softly).
BTW that was no 60 year old woman, that was Prince. [Edited 12/17/09 7:17am]

I was in my classroom and my teacher had on the radio and "I Would Die 4 U" came on, I started to scream out of excitement lol it's always a shock to hear him outside of my house or on our R&B radio station.
Then "Diamonds & Pearls" came on while shopping in a grocery store, started singin along, Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!!

I was in Chicago's Macy's in the ginormouse shoe department when Pop Life came on
i suddenly had an urge to find some suited pumps Same day in Forever 21? or maybe it was H&M.. Guitar came on. I kinda let my thoughts speak for itself and shouted out "WHOA! THIS IS PRINCE!" ..a few people looked at me, pondered, then opened their enlightened eyes and were like "wow.. whatya know..! i didn't even recognize it was him!" That is so cool Couple of months earlier, I found out by coincidence that one of my fave instructors from this school is a Prince fanatic, not just a casual one, but a HARDCORE one She was marking my quiz, and I glanced at her Ipod touch, she was putting Wonderful Ass on pause When I hummed the song, her jaw dropped

I was in the Winn Dixie and they started playing 'Diamonds and Pearls'. Yes, I did sing out loud to the ketchup and salad dressing and didn't care who saw me. You gotta stop and sing along. Prince Rogers Nelson

My store used to play When Doves Cry on occasion and I'd sing it together with this cute girl...good times. But now they just play modern crap like Taylor Swift. Fack, I hate my store. Damon Dickson: Is it hair, a hat, or a dead cat?

Another Lonely Christmas has been playing in two of our local shopping centres this Christmas season. Can't quite recall what my wife was asking me to choose - I left it up to her.
