Setlists

Do you think Prince isn't a master at creating great setlist on his concerts?
Do you think Prince can create shows with more exciting choice of songs
imagine this

Dirty Mind
Erotic City
Le Grind
Data Bank
G-Spot
Electric Intercourse
Sister
Bambi
Lady Cab Driver
Extra Lovable
encore:
When 2 are in love
SEXY MF
Get it Up
Jack U OFF
God instrumental version
Free

Darling Nikki
Head

Why wouldn't he do a setlist like this?
is he scared of being His Royal Badness?
is he really free?

Perhaps if you have your Delorean set to 1993. Otherwise, I wouldn't hold my breath.

no really man i don't know why
many acts would kill to have

groove as great as Erotic City is
still Prince ignore it.

he choose to play Stand by Sly instead.
Prince have many killer grooves.
Sexy MF or Dirty Mind shouldn't be performed
just because Prince is a Witness???

Does it mean Prince would be bad if he performs Art he created.
Where is the freedom there?
like oh no i can't perform this song
because it have the f... word.
hmmm
it sound very narrow minded to me to act that way.
it's his choice,but its wrong
he have one life and is there a one
person that should feel bad if
Prince performs Jack U OFF?

Prince will never perform these songs and HE is INDEED FREE....free to sing whatever he wants. Prince is still nasty but theres a limit if u understand that. But it is possible for instrumentals of those. Wasnt The Instrumental version of Erotic City performed not 2 long ago?

He's teased w/ those songs. He had a loop of "Erotic City" in a keyboard for the "sample section" at the 02 shows in London. He'd let the audience sing until the "we can fuck" line approached, then he'd switch it up and play another sample of "When Doves Cry" or something. He could easily just say "funk until the dawn" and be able to play "Erotic City" at shows. But God forbid we miss another fucking take of "Take Me With U" or "Raspberry Beret".
