I thank Prince for following his heart all those years ago. I thank Prince for being the biggest hero in my life when I was the most fearful. I thank Prince for his willingness to be any and everything he wanted to be. How this helped me when I came out of the closet just can never be fully explained with words. I thank God for placing this magician in my life. No amount of current dissapointment can ever change how valuable the body of work this man has created is for me.

There R many things I could say about the guitar... U pushed me on Funk guitar, because U (and Roger Troutman) had that particular swing, and just LOCKED IN. Your leads R among the most emotive playing ever. Your diversity, of course, is appreciated and recognized.

Here is my two-cent. Yesterday, I was working my daily grind when "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" played (instrumental version) on a local radio station here in LaLaland. The music brought the biggest smile to my face because even though I was answering banal questions from the general public, a piece of sunshine came into my day at that moment and I could appreciate Prince's God given genius in his music....I just had to smile.
