i like Prince alot, he occasionally displays flashes of brilliance no doubt about it at all. However i've no desire to either feed his ego or tongue his bum! i think that's fair enough

I'm only 22 yrs old and all 22 years (yes, since the womb) I have been listening to Prince. Thanks for all the music, the concerts, the funny faces you make & thank you for for helping me in my darkest hour. Just last night I was listeing to "Thieves in the temple" & I was more amazed than I've ever been by that song & I've heard it soooo many times!!!! The sounds u pick & where u place things & the vocals, you are truely amazing and an inspiration to me. You defintley taught me do my music on my terms. Thank you!! Can't wait for another show and more music.

Just to sum things up:
I thought this thread would give people a chance to say thanks to Prince, but it turned into more of a lesson about ourselves. Sometimes our lack of intolerance or dismissiveness of others, or demanding need to be the center of attention. All of which was not about Prince, but about us. How we choose to react is our responsibility not only online but in life. We short change ourselves when we "don't" care.
