Sometimes don't you just wish you can say that to Prince. I mean it is REALLY hard being a Prince fan. Just think of all the stuff we as FANS miss out on because Prince has his "Prince issues". No remasters, the botch setlists because he can't perform songs with curse words, how we didn't get the musicology concert on cable because P couldn't negoiate a deal, no youtube videos (this is where I try to show my friends music they haven't heard), no itunes, no access to the vault because "he doesn't live in the past", no good concert dvd, etc.

I am sure I am missing other things, but you would think that with a fanbase that is so devoted and and has stuck by him through all of his shit he would cut us some slack and actually take one for the team. How about something for the fans. I am sure he hears what we want (believe me, P has people on the Org), how about he just once delivers.

I am sure people will say if you're not happy leave and he can do whatever he wants and yadda yadda, but no I'm not going to leave. I love the music, always have but I do have every right to complain as a FAN and someone who has stuck by him for so long. I was a fool to sign up for Lotusflow3r, never complained once although i am seriously not satisfied with what I paid for and will NOT renew.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but seriously P if you are reading this, take one for the team!

Unfortunately, there is no "I" in TEAM, so Prince probably has no concept of what you are saying.

I really wonder...is there another group of hardcore fans of any artist that have gone through the shiz Prince fans have? Besides the babies in Metallica 10 years ago (and those fans didn't just bitch, they fucking fought back, burned albums, and yelled right at Lars when he stepped outside, throwing shit, etc.) I mean really. I guess the bigger question is.....what artist pulls these types of shenanigans over and over? But what fanbase has risen up against their artist for an undelivered product, or whatever, and made waves in the artist's life? Did the artist solve it? Did they ignore it (PRINCE)?

I agree with everyone on this thread. Many of us have stuck with Prince over the years because he feels like Family. Like with Family, you may not like everything they do, but you still love them anyway. Prince needs to deliver! Sometimes I truly feel Prince doesn't care about his core fanbase. I bet if we all banned together and lit a fire up his a@# he would hear us then! We are not complaining just do right by us Prince! Whewww, I am so glad I got that out, I've held that in since "Sign of The Times".
