Why is this ACCEPTED!? People (including some of you on this site) seem to think, "Ahhh, it's no big deal. She was just trying to get her CD into his hands. She didn't realize it was so bad." It's like it's fine because she's an attractive WHITE girl with blonde hair. Okay, now take the SAME situation... but reverse it... Suppose it was Brittney Spears' house and the person breaking in was a black man.... Okay... Stop the press. That black man would have been arrested, his mug shot would be all over the internet, he would have absolutely NO future in music and he'd probably get a few years jail time. What a fucking double standard that it's partially excused because this girl is white, cute and bubbly. Am I right or wrong? | |

I've done stupid things to get near an artist I thought was cool,(when I was young!) and I admire this girl's balls (for lack of a better word) to risk jail time to try and meet Prince and give him her demo. It's what hardcore artists do... stupid shit.
But (and it's a big but), what the fuck does this say about his security? This could'a been a deranged Mark David Chapman wannabe with an agenda! I think this little episode should put Prince into the mindset that he needs to up his security, or at least his gardner's wages.  |
