Purple Rain, Album Survivor Round 5. Down to 4 Well last round was a hit too, 3 songs came very close and it was neck and neck all the way

Purple rain is a great song, but I have heard it too much. I still hear it on Dutch radio almost every day ! So my vote goes to: PURPLE RAIN How beautiful do the words have to B, before they conquer every heart | |

I don't get how over exposure to a song - whether it be through P regularly performing it in concert or always hearing it on the radio - affects your judgement of the song!
Sure, I understand that you might decide to skip it when it comes on your CD / i-pod - but you still remember how it used to make you feel and you still know it's a quality song - so you should be able to detach any current apathy to it and judge it on how good a song it actually is! 
Anyway, on the basis that I believe it to be the weakest song on a fantastic album - my vote, again, goes to Computer Blue. P.S. - Huggie - really don't mean to be picky, but looking at the previous round, did you really mean to use the word "sanctimonious" in the title??
