THere should be a sequel to 'POSSESSED : THe RISE and FALL of Prince" The book was a bit slutty.
A bit sensationalist. But it was kind of entertaining. I read it in about a week, and I NEVER read celebrity gossip books. But it stops smack dab at the tail end of his symbol years when things appeared their most bleak. I think there should be enough to write about for a sequal. ![]() but to bit phonetic Freudian slip edit [Edited 12/10/09 9:32am]

I'd much sooner have a sequel to the best Prince book of all time - Per Nilsen's "DMSR" which sadly only covers the first ten years - 1978-1988.
Possessed was garbage, written by someone that had previously represented people in legal cases AGAINST Prince. It was biased, sensationalist and misinformed to say the least. "DMSR" is the only Prince book worth reading IMO. [Edited 12/10/09 9:45am] |

I read it in a day. I made me feel dirty...and not in the good way.
There should NOT be a sequel to that trash. I would however, very much like a sequel to D.M.S.R.

I wish there was a second "DMSR" from Per Nilsen. It cut off at one of my favorite times.

You can add up all the other books about Prince together and they still don't match up. That's especially noteworthy since it only covers the first ten years. Possessed is tabloid trash, a complete rag, heavily biased against Prince, sensationalist in every way. Waste of time and money. In fact, when it was being written, Alex Hahn (the author), came HERE to prince.org to find stuff out, so that says it all really. |

Read it from back-to-front and it has a much happier ending.
