His most diverse era (appearance wise)

Is it just me or has this era been his most diverse when it comes to his appearance?
I mean, he has been dressing in suits, retro tight fitting turtle neck shirts, long purple satin shirts, sweaters and ruffled satin. He has worn his hair straight, curly, up in a do rag..heck we have practically even seen the re-emergence of the Typhoon do.
His make up has given him a tanned appearance at times as well as a very pale appearance.
He has worn clear lens glasses and sunglasses. His mustache has been thin, and its been wider than usual.
I know he has always had a variety of styles in each era..but they always tied together it seemed. But this era has been from end of the spectrum to the other.
Any thoughts, or pics as examples?

I think his Parade SOTT & Lovesexy has been the most diverse in appearance

I will have to agree, especially the Parade time period. Prince's style then was off the charts! Let's not forget he was wearing poka-dots as early as 86" way before rap artist Kwame' did in the early 90's.

Parade was diverse with the half shirts, and tight pants, juxtaposed with the suits and ties, silk jammies and overcoats.

SOTT and Lovesexy were a bit similar. It was a wacky period, even more so with names on the clothes like labels.

I think his mid 90's looks are quite versatile. The hair stayed the same, as did the slave on the face, but his clothes went from coin covered jackets, to jump suits with the symbol on them, to lots of high pants and short jackets.

I agree (especially Parade) he had almost conventional suites, tuxes, all the way to lace ruffled shirts, fur coats, hip higger bell bottoms, pajama outfits
and the band and proteges matched the diversity from Mazaratis crazy styles to the family's paisley and pajamas to Sheila's Romance 1600-Sheila look
