I also had a interview record that had the same interview but someone else (a woman) asking the questions. I haven't watched that clip for years, but maybe the original interviewer was asking questions in French with an interpreter for Prince. I thought that MTV had a woman's voice asking the Qs, but my memory is crap. The orgiginal interview was done by Steve. I remember right before they aired the interview the vj said that MTV submitted a list of questions and Prince picked which ones he wanted to answer, and Steve was to ask them. I totally agree with you VelvetJ! As someone who loves Prince's live performances, Prince needs to stop being an "a-double-s-s" and give us what we want! We want the live concerts in a DVD box set! And rehearsal footage would be nice, as well.
