What id like to see in a new prince release What i would really like to see in a new album release by prince is, firstly, a really good album, but id love to see him release a Music/DVD package, with the DVD containing the studio recording sessions, behind the scenes stuff, production, mixing, demos, and recording of the tracks. This would give fans an insight into his studio techniques, and would be be fantastic to see, and would better connect people with the album itself, but maybe im asking a bit too much here... All u haters need to recognize, if u cant c right through these lies, good gawd!

Very cool idea, but, unfortunately, you are asking too much here... I doubt he'd ever do that.

what i'd like to see before any attention is put into another new release,
is prince honouring his past output by finally releasing it in good sound quality. it's beyond belief that prince, who has one of the best back catalogues of any artist in this day and age, and who's known for incredibly high standards in everything, would just sit back and let his legacy be on the shelves in stores in a quality that is downright shameful. i understand his viewpoint that whatever he's doing now is the most important to him but still, what a letdown. everyone and the aunt are doing remasters. record companies even invest in obscure remasters of groups that no one even cares about anymore so i'm sure that WB and prince could come to some sort of understanding. what's he gonna do, wait until 2020 to remaster Sign O The Times, when he finally gets his mastertapes back? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Oh he wont' just remaster SOTT, son. He's gonna "The NEW MASTER" Sign of the Times starring Chaka Kahn as Camille, Larry Graham as "IT" and of course Doug E. Fresh as the rapper who does the newly added rap interlude in the hipped out new version of "Dorth Parker--the New Master"

Personally, I can't see Prince doing any of the stuff mentioned in the orginal post. He's still building a mystery.

If Prince contined releasing stuff like Lotusflow3r, as imperfect as most may find it, I'll be happy.
It's essentially a waiting game at this point--can we all outlive Prince so we can listen to the stuff in the vault? I hunch is Prince is gonna live a looooonnnnng ass time

As long as a t-shirt is promised, I'm there. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

He's working on it. As an aside, the 20 year anniversary Purple Rain dvd was to have a lot of goodies on it than it did but both sides lawyers got into it before Prince even had a say.
