Brillinat album. I remember when this album came out some of the critics were slatin prince. what do they know! one of the best it'a shame they r only 9 songs
The Exodus Has Begun is a killer track.

Could have been a great album, but the crap inbetween songs ruins it and Sonny T should not have been given lead vocals on most songs.

Prince shoulda have the lead on every song and distorted his voice, a bit of camille, a bit of Bob George, could have been a real funk classic.

Exodus was neither popular enough, rare enough, or coveted enough for there to be bootleg versions of it.

The chances of someone buying this and not getting a "real" version are very slim.

Lots of segues but a must have for any P collection. I love some of the Funk that is closer to George Clinton Style funk. Take the 10 min "the Exodus has Begun" track. Love it.
