G.R.E.S. ... thats another question why did he do that ... would Sheryl and Gwen just not make a video with him ?? I never knew why that never happened? Hmmm

if i was guessing it was because of their record labels not giving them the release to be in a video for another artist on another label...Sheryl & Gwen have both partied at the Park...and I am sure that they would have loved to do a vid with Prince...but alas...The record company has the final say over whether or not they will let their artists appear in other artists video's...I.E. the reason that the stuff with Lenny hasn't surfaced

I'd love to see him do some original material with Lenny Kravitz. I thought they had a real good vibe together when they performed live in 2000 and I could imagine them bouncing guitar solos off one another. Maybe singing a verse each and possibly dueting on the chorus.

Prince and Nsync? I don't think so...although I DO have to say J.C. Chasez's new cut "Blowin Me Up" has turned my head, reminding me of some old Minneapolis-sound stuff. I like it.

As for collaberations, I'd like to see Prince work with MeShell NdegeOcello, Vanessa Daou Erykah Badu and maybe Maxwell. Jazz-wise, I've been out of the loop in recent years, but I'd love to hear some work with Marcus Redman. As for hip-hoppers, I'm glad to see he has crossed the river from TC Ellis and Tony M types to truly talented artists like Common, but I'd most like to hear him work with legendary spoken word artists like Sonia Sanchez, Gil Scott Heron, etc. (In this vein, if you haven't heard the song "Field of Blood" on MeShell's latest album "Cookie," you should go check it out soon.)
