oh u wanna know what the forumula is ....

3 parts prince solo studio
2 parts live full band workouts

he gave a nod on sign with the live beautiful night but other than that we have not had that mix of live and studio on a record

i think gold would have been way better with a live days of wild, as would have lotus and plantet earth
i think he tends to trim out some of his more cringeworthy lyrics live and i remember u make my sunshine live he cut out that whole stupid bridge that ruined the original ... i definately enjoy the live lotus tunes better than the studio and the funk tracks on musicology would have done great with a live band but sound a little stale as is
