Space (unreleased Madhouse remix) Just heard this for the first time. An unreleased jazz mix of "Space" that was apparently at one time going to be included on the Madhouse 24 album.
It keeps the bassline from the original and some of the backing female vocals "Space.....Space.....don't you want to gooo", and adds some shuffly jazz drumming, a lead saxophone line, and lots of jazzy piano licks. Very ambient and cool. Anyone else digging this mix? This would have been a great addition to the Japanese Maxi-Single of 'Space' - which is possibly my favorite Maxi single  |

So,what is on the Japanese maxi single of Space? Is it similar to the German one?
I´ve always thought that the bassline in Space sounds a little bit as if it´s been inspired by the bassline in Cosmic Slop by Funkadelic. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |

I know there are the Japanese(6-tracks), US(2-, or 5-tracks), Australian(5-tracks) and Spain(3-tracks) pressings. Japan: 1. Space (Universal Love Remix) 6:10 2. Space (Funky Stuff Remix) 5:42 3. Space (Funky Stuff Dub) 4:47 4. Space (Acoustic Remix) 4:41 5. Space (Album Version) 4:31 6.
