I'd like jazzy, funky, bassy stuff with as few electronic beeps and things as possible. Maybe lots of tambourine, just to please Squirrel Grease. razz

It'd sound like N.E.W.S., Xpectation, most of The Rainbow Children. Take your pick.

I think a grab bag of 80s-era songs from the Vault would work . . . remember Chronic mentioning all of the finished projects sitting on dbl 14" inch reels?

Enough already with the safe sanitized guy we have now . . .

This request is never to eliminate the band...In fact it would be great to have Prince doing an acoustic record on one side, and then the whole band on the songs for the second disk.

Ya know...Bare and Dressed. I think it would be great. cool

I'd like to hear a "Re-visited" album, with songs from the 70's, 80's and early 90's remixed... I think it would be coolio!! Prince is in a totally different mind set now, it would be interesting to see how they sound...

I'd like for him to go back in the direction where he was feeling some of everything. Just being experimental.

Hi..can you tell me where u got this piece of info from? This is a Hindi song you are mentioning, and since Iam from India, I know this is a very old "bolywood" song, and it is not composed by Prince. Now are you mentioning about any remixes of this song by Prince? if yes I would really die to hear that. b coz, i dont think too many people know him out here in India ... sad

I would like the first ever sequel album, Lovesexy 2 or The Rainbow Children 2. Lots of ducked up backwards vocals and hippy ATWIAD percussion please. Also some 80's gold from the vault would make a great xmas present for lotusflow3r members smile

To suggest or anticipate what direction Prince should or may go into next would destroy the most exciting part of the Prince experience: his unpredictability. I'm certain that whatever he comes out with next will be interesting and well-produced.

something experimental and weird. something you couldn't label one thing
or another. something more like his quirky 86/87 material but spruced up
with just a few electrofunk tracks a la 81/82.

some of y'all might say "lotusflower/mplsound" and, ok, i admit, there's
a shimmer of those periods in both.

but this time round i would want prince to think about what will stand
out more in 20 yrs time, another album like musicology/planet earth, or
something completely off center and weird, yet melodic and beautiful.

12 new songs, intricately crafted, brimming over with ideas, yet not as
over produced as some of his latest work.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Whatever direction he chooses I'm cool with. Or He could expand on Lotus and add another album that was more jazzy or funked up.

I would love prince to do a diverse album with funk, electro funk. P funk
fusion jazz, rock, soul, blues, sly stone funk etc.
an album influenced by his main music influences.
Hendrix,parliament funkadelic, miles davis etc.

With the imagery of Lotusflow3r.com, I was expecting something more along those lines, a little more experimental.

I like ur idea aiden:

As long as I get to see a live performance now & then.
