Prince's vocals on Elephants & Flowers Have you ever heard Prince sing like this besides Elephants and Flowers? It is seemingly a different vocal delivery than usual. "New Power slide...." |

Yea I noticed that when I heard it for the 1st time. Kinda scratchy, and a bit rough. The closest Ive heard to that sound is on Dreamer, towards the end.

Yeah, that's his "rock" voice. Elephants and Flowers does sound a bit more restrained version of it though. | |

Lion of Judah,maybe? His voice sounded a bit raspy there, too,but in a good way.
