Whats the point?

Ok not NPG or Madhouse or anyother albums prince helped made. Just Prince albums from him. What songs on Prince's albums do u think there was no point putting it on that album coz Prince dosnt sing that much in it or dosnt sing not at all. Someone else dose

If that makes sence.

I agree. An album I hid in my cupboard, hopefully never to be found again is Newpower Soul. I think same story with some songs on there.

Funny, b/c I love this song. It's funky to me & fun, just goes to show we all got different tastes. I'm glad he put that song on the album.

Bingo.... What a crap song! Although I do love his singing n the song towards the end, but a few seconds of his voice doesn't justify the minutes of crap wasted on there. Cant complain much tho, It was 3 cd's of brand spanking new material whether u liked it or not.

Because he's a musician. I think sometimes it's the sound of the composition that matters, the whole soundscape, so if his voice doesn't fit what he wants, he'll use another, like another instrument. He may be able to sing it, but it may not convey the right emotion/colour, like the Camille alter for example.

Any track in particular that made u think hmm?

Recently, my "hmm" moment was in Immersion, where Bria sings a low "go", always sounds odd to me. I sometimes wonder what it would sound like if the voices started with B then merged & ended with P? It would been nice to see a little bit more play, like in Elixir with the two voices. Don't get me wrong, I love Immerson, but that is my "I wonder" moment.

CD's are like a gallery. I can choose whatever fits my mood. Or miss some altogether. "Others here with us" Creeps me out!

OK I get it Prince albums only. So, picking from your list, it would have to be Jughead... but that was Prince & the NPG shrug

Still stand by what I said though. We may not see the point to not much P vocals on anything, but it makes sense to him. Anything I don't like or makes me think "what's the point" I don't listen to.
