I know the song is about a girl that has died. Very sad...and sweet.

I would hope that this thread would enlighten the song and not be a part of Prince's life that makes him sad. As we are are living, we cannot dwell on the passing of another if that is in God's plan...We can remember that love.

This song can be sad when just missing someone that U love. The Holiday's tend to make people more sensitive about their relationships.

I appreciate this song and I wonder if U know what I mean...The song touches me when I think about not being next to (a) man that I love on Christmas Eve.

I do worry that Prince gets sad around Christmas Time. Prince has a friend inside of that seperation tear. Whether from Death or Parting Ways.

I like the song Tame and it does bring sad thoughts at what is supposed to be a happy time, but I guess that what makes it unique

Christmas is a wonderful time of year, and I love the holidayz add a Little Prince and we are adding icing to the cake

I am no "Astrologist," however this song does remind me of the consellation "Orion," known in some mythological references to have hunted the "Pleiades," or 9 stars called the 7 sisters.

One of those stars is named Electra.

If this song is fictitious as some members have said...I could believe that Prince's reference could come from that level of inspiration. Maybe it's just a shot in the dark. A radiant speculation persay.

but usually-i'd bet while everyone else is with their family eating and drinking

P is with his family-the guitar,bass,keyboard and microphone doing what he does best-and doing that-I seriously doubt he gets sad or lonely

For a 'my girl is dead' track it gets seriuos airplay in NYC at Christmas time every year on WBLS. Not exactly 'Jingle Bells' but still classic. Just very sad and poignant.
