Prince and Morris day: interchangeable voices?

Was it just the Minneapolis sound or that fact that Prince told Morris how to sing.

Or maybe Prince immitated Morris even--it's possible

On songs like "Gigglos" and "777.9311" Morris sounds so much like Prince it's scary. I guess I hear a little Jessie Johnson too. But then Andre Cymone had those same characteristics to his voice. What gives?

Not even on "Cloreen Bacon Skin" does Prince sound exactly like Morris. Both of them can do that pimp voice, but in general, no.

Prince's voice is all over The Time and Sheila's albums, so that's what you're hearing. They have very different tones to their voices, but when Morris slips into "character", that's the "character" that Prince mimics.

I Still haven't figured out how voices are bottled and distributed within humanity. I wonder about the exact number of voice prints. It is a finite number. cool
