I think it would be easy to find out the chords of that tab for that part. I'm at the university right now, so I can't tell you - but download it and check it out wink IIRC, in that tab is piano part you want.

I have the purple rain songbook at home. I'm at work now. I'll try to scan "Father's Song" for you later on tonight.

Don't pay money for purple rain book for father's song. It bears very little resemblence. Think its prob part of John L's original that prince expanded upon. If i had the time, i'd lay down a scored version, so people could learn. this is my take on youtube http://www.youtube.com/wa...qIjY8dZFa8

I lost both my mother and father suddenly in the last two years, and prob why i dusted off Father's song. My piano etc is currently in storage now, but if people show enough interest i will try and do a version, with a piano score that people can learn,. Let me know if you're interested.

Like i said sadly lost my folks, so in the process of seeling up and stuff etc, so physically can't right now. but soon. Did you check the prince medley too. couple of well known choons in there, well at least to prince fams.Do you think people would be into an online tutorial?

Minneapolis. I sent NYSE the Father's Song sheet music from the PR book, but it sounds like you probably have a better technique. If you are able to post your findings, it would be very cool. This song is requested quite often here.

I learn most things by ear, I learnt Father's song off of the movie, but happy to do a tutorial if i can. Once myself and my sis have sorted selling the family home, will have more time to do stuff. And would be positive stuff for me also.
