LOL
Only Prince fans would create a world in with no one even deserves to be an opening act for Prince. Personally I'm cool with a line up like that one... though I could think of several opening acts I would rather see... Janelle Monae Nikka Costa (who i know has before) Van Hunt Gnarls Barkley (Ceelo) N.E,R,D. (Pharrell) *note opening acts are seldom of the caliber of the headliner.. which is why they are the opening acts. [Edited 11/23/09 20:03pm]

Maxwell and Prince, I do believe, have actually worked together. I have an MP3 of a remix of Maxwell's song "Noone" off the Now album where he and Prince share lead vox. Vastly improved over the original, and I love some Maxwell.
And co-sign on the dream of Prince playing with TTD. To really take it home, I'd open the show with some Living Colour to play up even more of the rock vibe. LC rock it out, then TTD hits the stage with stuff like "Vibrator" and "She Kissed Me," then Prince blows it up with whatever he wanted to play, as long as it was axe-heavy. A Prince-Vernon Reid guitar summit could melt some faces and minds.

Maxwell opening for Prince would be a dream for me. I think he's one of the few bright spots left in R&B these days. Musiq...not so much.
