Is the re a roumor he wrote this? Someone said in a concert he asked everybody "who wrote that!?"

Are there other songs that are big that he claims he wrote?

During the Nude tour the band would break out into this song with Rosie singing "What have you done for me lately?" and then Prince saying "Who wrote that?"

It was written by Jam and Lewis, right?

So maybe Prince was implying that either he did write it and Jam and Lewis nicked it from him, or maybe he wrote a similar tune whilst Jam and Lewis were with The Time and they plagiarised it. Just a guess.

or something less sinister, like he's just giving a musical shoutout to jam and lewis.
