Ya know, I just got back from visiting a friend in the hospital with a life threatening condition. Kinda puts a lot of things in perspective, esp. for those of us nearing Prince's age. C'mon, ya'll, wake up call! Your real lives have nothing to do with Prince's real life. He is not a Messiah figure, nor is he the Anti-Christ! He is not the end all and be all of existence! He is a human being, just like the rest of us...with faux pas galore! He will not show up at your hospital room when a real crisis occurs! The real value to all of us in any situation is his MUSIC! If it helps you to heal, if it helps you to dance and dream and explore your life in some way, then it is valuable. If it helps you with your own musical ambitions, then it is valuable! If you think Prince can give you salvation from what ails your soul or life, or if you think that he will be your Prince in Shining Armour who will rescue you from your life circumstances--then you are living in LA LA LAND! For God's sake and your own sake! Deal with those you know and care about in REAL LIFE! Prince's music was meant to be just that! Music to enjoy or not! Nothing else!

That's true. But I think we all have our own live. Prince live have nothing to do with my live. And that's good....

But his music inspire my live a lot. I think different in some ways. I start to think more about differnt thinks. And that's good for me and my live.

Why all these speculations, gay or not gay?

is it an american thing to speculate that much in sexuality/ personal life?

When a guy is single, the speculations goes on and on.. is he gay, why isn't he married etc.?

when he finally gets married new speculations begins.. is he playing games, cheating on his wife, when will he get the divorce??

And these kind of speculations just goes on and on,

I know Prince is straight, but I wouldn't mind if he was gay,

that would actually be fine with me, it would be better to be gay than a Jehovah Witness, imo.
