I remember seeing that back then. I thought it was a stupid gimmick, but it was funny at times.

I remember wrestling fans being really brutal to him at shows calling him "faggot".

I guess they didn't get the irony that they paid money to see shirtless men in tights with no body hair, tans, and baby oil "taking each other to the mat"!

I haven't watched wrestling since it got fake. But this was pretty funny. I love the Purple Rain-esque intro music. Just close enough to not get sued.

This is only 10 year old + I'm a huge wrestling fan. TAFKAPI was actually a very good wrestler. His valet, Paisley, in real life is married to wrestler Booker T. Her name is Sharmel and was recently in TNA wrestling with Booker.

I remember this. There was also a wrestler in the WWF OR WWE (watever) who went by the name of "Goldust",he went by the Artist formely known as goldust later on. I also remember seeing a wrestler named Ernest Miller and on a episode of NITRO,they were in Mineapolis and the wrestler called the Real Prince to the ring and he waited for a few minutes and finally Prince Iaukea came to the ring.Lol good stuff.
