Based upon youe entire Prince collection including all protege albums, tribute albums, video, bootlegs, concert tickets (tack on the airfare if you did that too!). How much have you spent on Prince and would you do it all over again? Also are you going to keep on spending more?

I come in at about $4000 some odd dollars.
I'd definitely do it all over agine in a heartbeat.
I'm going shopping for more right after Thanksgiving!

I posted it already on the 'What do you want from Prince' thread. I spent most of that money on him back in the early 80's. Today I wouldn't stand in a long line around the corner for Prince. I also wouldn't rush to see one of his last minute shows. I love him but I'm not the1 for his ego-tripping, inconsiderate bull$hit. He must want rich fans only.

Wow, I've been a fan for so many years that it would be impossible for me to even try and come up with a number.

One of my earliest memories of "spending money on Prince" is being at a neighborhood fair when I was a kid. I played roulette all weekend long because I was trying to win a Prince mirror. It was a mirror about the size of an album cover, with his picture from the PR era etched on it. Eventually, I DID win it though!

And yes, I'd spend every dime all over again. Actually, I'd spend even more as I had some opportunities that I regret not taking advantage of.

Now what IS a fair price for content?

Gosh never really added it all up but probably around £10,000 and thats only in the last 5 years !!!

Well im only 20 so the records,8 tracks,and concerts were before my time. So counting bootlegs,vhs tapes,Official CDS & DVDS,I and my dad have spent. i would say maybe 600 $,and im still not done. I also dont regret it. He might get 77$ if i choose to join the website oneday.

I work hard for the money and I enjoy spending it on Prince stuff there's nothing wrong with that

i've never found the financial side of things to be a problem.

if i run out of money i just do what the governments seem to keep doing, just print some more !

concert tickets, I have seen about 17 concerts in Denmark, Holland, Germany, Sweden, and UK.

My guess is 50,000 danish kroners.

all in all - about $ 10,000. Just a guess.

I guess about $700 dollars over a period of 29 years. I'm sure that is why I am barely making it today.

like around $45. all i baught from Prince is the Purple rain album, The very best of Prince album. and songs from itunes that were Prince. iam planing to buy the batman album. so like $52 for now.

Since 1978: Probably something around $500-$600. Though I've never spent a dime on any of his websites. Going forward: As long as Prince keeps producing, I'll keep consuming. Can't imagine Prince would ever fall off my radar, unless he makes a determined effort to do so.
