I just noticed it. It's hardly pristine white anymore, sort of yellowish all around. Both, the plastic and the cardboard parts. I haven't necessarily noticed the same with the other white digipak -style releases that I have.

Or was it more of this shade originally as well?

Mine's yellowish too and the cardboard is partially detached from the plastic case.

My vinyl case and my CD cases are both white.

mines not too bad,nothing like the Paisley Park picture disc discolouring anyway.

Mine hasn't yellowed. Yellowing usually means there was no UV coating applied during printing, and sun or harsh UV light has hit the surface of the package, whether in your home or in the store. Mine is, in true anal fashion, acid-free bagged and stored spine-side out in a dark area.

It might be worth tens of dollars some day.

My Planet Earth CD has turned yellow. Mostly from me pissing on it every time I see it.

I don't like the faded ring that forms on the record jacket when you leave the record in the jacket. Plus they're just easier to access as well. I put the open end of the bag up, so I can just pull the record straight up and out.

I ruined my copy of Rave by spraying Sta-Sof-Fro a little too close to it. I've still got it, but it would work best as a coaster at this point. I was just tryin' to let my soul glo, and I got carried away.

Yeah, mine's vintage white now... who knows, maybe one day it will actually morph into the black album?

It's a little yellow. And a little glittery blue, too. I spilled my token color nail polish of that year on the back of the cover.

I'm embarrassed to say I don't own this one yet, but don't revoke my Prince Lovin License

I guess mine is yellowing....I don't mind...It's almost 11 years old.

I broke one of the hinge tabs on my CD copy right after I got it. Pissed me off. I almost picked up a spare used one at FYE the other day, but decided against it.

Mine is actually still okay.
