anybody know where this symbol came from? what era is it in? when did prince start using it and what did it if anything represent? because ive never seen in any prince associated stuff or maybe i dont know

Lovesexy "Have you had your plus sign today....yes."

It's in the album, I believe. It was on the tour, hanging over the stage at the end of the show in neon. Was probably in the Tour Programme too.

It's on the sleeve of Lovesexy, along with "New Power Soul" in an upward-facing arrow. "Yes" was a big theme of the whole album, especially for the opening song ("Say yes--if U want this feeling called love") and the closer ("Positivity--yes").

I have it as a tattoo on my leg... for an homage to Lovesexy and it's message. I got it inked in blue with white accents. My favorite of my tattoos. I always swore when I got a tattoo it Would not be Prince related... altho it.. KINDA is

Why do all the songs on Lovesexy play like one big mp3? Why are the songs not divided like other albums? Or is my CD defective?

when the cd was first released it was as a one track cd, but now you can get it as a tracked cd.

I have both and its good to play the tracks I want to hear

Why do we keep answering silly questions from people who have obviously never bought a single Prince cd, just downloaded everything illegaly from the internet...

The US retail version is still one track. The Euro CDs are tracked. One just has to buy from Amazon.co.uk.
