Anyone else think 77 Beverly Park sounded out of place in its position on Lotusflow3r? Just a thought but as much as I like it, think Lotusflowe3r always sounds a bit disjointed to me, like a group of songs rather than a cohesive album, i think the reason was that he put 77 Beverley Park between Love Like Jazz and Wall of Berlin, and reading about it seems he moved it there as an afterthought (it was meant for MPLSound originally i think).
If you played Love like Jazz then Wall of Berlin in sequence it matches much better, they seem to segue well into each other and keep the upbeat flow of the album. MPLSound by contrast flows together very well, in particular the excellent trilogy of Better Than Time, Ol Skool Company and No More Candy 4 U. [Edited 11/6/09 23:11pm] [Edited 11/6/09 23:15pm]

I think it's spot on. Love Lick Jazz De-evolves slightly from it's spritely nature in a gradual way. At the beginning of 77 is finishes De-evolving fully and spring back to a light spirited state...like a flower getting watered and springing back to a bloom.
I think I was stoned when I though that up.

I can listen if I'm in the mood but I'd rather it wasn't there, to be honest. RIP

I felt as if "MplSound," really didn't flow and "Lotusflow3r," does, however that really doesn't even matter that much to me.
"77 Beverly Park," is beautiful...I wish the song was longer. It reminds me of "With You." "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

I think I was stoned when I though that up. Actually I think Love like Jazz into 77 Beverley Park is the best part of the album. Flows like water into each other. Wall of Berlin is not really my cup of tea, too much talking kind of singing. I'd have preferred a more "colonised mind" approach to the Wall. Btw Bobgeorge, even if you were stoned, I like your song description. Talking about how you experience the music, really nice to read.
